So, Alex and I thought since it seems everyone else has a blog or web page, then we would do the same. It is a good way to keep everyone up to date with what is happening in our lives.
So, as most of you know or not know, Alex and I are trying to buy our first house. We have been looking in Rocklin, Roseville, Citrus Heights, Orangevale and Lincoln. We are having a tough time because investors with money are buying up a lot of the houses in our price range and we just don't have the money to compete with them. So, we have had much disappointment so far. We have put an offer in on a 2006 house in Lincoln. It's a starter home, but that's what we need. It is a 3bd, 2.5ba 2 story house. It has a shared driveway with 4 other homes and has a 2 car garage for Alex. He would prefer a larger garage, but we currently don't have a garage so it's a step up. We haven't heard back from the bank yet on it but should know by the end of the week if the bank accepted our offer. If not, it's back to the search. So keep your fingers crossed for us because we are getting a little discouraged.

I LOVE this ! It's much better than e-mail because of the pictures. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you guys on the house. You must be getting tired of trying, but don't give up. I bet Alex took the picture of the dead tree. I don't check the computer too often but now I will make a habit of it.
